One Night Only at The Ivy

Last night saw the return of "One night only" : the famous charity event held at The Ivy, where actors and actresses take on the roles of serving staff waiting on customers who paid for a ticket in the name of Acting for Others, which is an umbrella of 15 charities supporting theatre and dance professionals.
There were two seating's - Act 1 and Act 2-  which saw the auctioning off of various prizes including a private dining experience supplied by The Ivy restaurant, a table every month for 4 people at any Le Caprice holding restaurants ( which went for £10,000 !) ,  a Harry Potter experience and the opportunity of owning an original iconic Ivy Window pane- which was once sold at a Sotheby's auction for £31,250.
The evening was a fantastic combination of elegance, wit and sophistication. It felt like being in a Downton Abbey episode with a twist !
