Hello fellow Wild Free Innocent followers ! Now that the skiing season is upon us I wanted to give you an exclusive insight into one of the hottest skiing resorts of all time : St Moritz. This tiny charming village ,tucked away in the Swiss alps has such an incredible history that it is a must for you to visit if you haven't done so already ! I know the place inside out as I have been going there every year since I was about 6 months old ladies and gentleman here is the best insider guide to St Moritz you will ever get ! These useful tips will give you access to all the best places in town which are normally impossible to get into ! Enjoy xxx
Palace Hotel :
This is THE best and most happening hotel in town. Founded by the Badrutt family, this hotel has an incredible history and it has always been the meeting point/hub of the village. From 5 pm tea in the lobby, to after dinner drinks at Mario's Bar or dancing at the Kings Club until the early hours this hotel is a must to visit ! Christian the concierge will help you with anything you need and Angelo the head of F&B will make sure you are looked after in every single one of their restaurants.
Kulm Hotel:
Owned by the Niarchos family, the Kulm is an iconic St Moritz Hotel and has been for generations. Quieter than the Palace Hotel, you can still enjoy tea time in the lobby, a swim in their great pool or enjoy lunch at their Kulm Park restaurant ( which will be great during the February 2017 ski championships as it is directly in front of what will be the presentation podium)
Suvretta Hotel:
Located in the luxurious Suvretta area, this ski in ski out old school hotel is the perfect destination for a family holiday. Quieter than the Palace and the Kulm, this hotel is great for kids and is set directly on the slopes.
Carlton Hotel :
The latest addition to St Moritz's 5 star hotels in the newly renovated Carlton Hotel with a slick spa and great rooms.

Corviglia Club :
The Corviglia Club is one of the oldest and most famous private members club in the world. Founded in 1930 by European Aristocrats the club is and has always been the epitomy of jet set exclusivity. Impossible to get into with a "money cant buy you access"  kind of policy , the club can come across as very snobbish and pretentious but I have to say I had some of the best years of my life there . From competing in their ski races every year, to lovely lunches in the sun on their amazing terrace , to meeting people that have become some of my closest friends to date and to their amazing Italian waiters that have been there from the very beginning such as Giovanni . To get access to this iconic club get one of the members to invite you for lunch !
El Paradiso:
This super cool restaurant located on the slopes is insanely cool and a must to visit ! One part of the place is reserved for members and the rest is open to the public. Speak to the manager Hans Jorg and he will get you the best table ! Make sure you ask to be seated on the bottom terrace !
An old St Moritz institution, this gourmet lunch spot is located at the top of the Corviglia mountain and is perfect if you are a real foodie as Chef and owner Reto Mathis wont disappoint you whether you order his delicious truffle pizza or his oysters !
This is another iconic restaurant you should visit for lunch. You can access it by skiis or if you are feeling romantic you can catch a horse carriage from town to take you there. The food is great and it is the most beloved restaurant by all the Italian people that are in St Moritz. Make sure you meet the manager,  Grillo who has been there for at least 30 years !
Owned by The Suvretta Hotel this is the perfect o to restaurant for lunch serving typical yummy Engadin dishes such as Bratwurst mit Rosti or their delicious and healthy Gerstensuppe. No bookings allowed so make sure you get there early as seating is very limited !
St Moritz's best kept secret, Clavadatsch,  is a super cute and rustic hut nestled up in the Suvretta hill serving a delicious lunch. Only insiders know of it !

Chesa Veglia : Pizzeria, Grill, Prive'
The go to place for dinner !  Owned by The Palace Hotel , The Chesa Veglia is a building consisting of St Moritz's best restaurants. First and foremost the famous Pizzeria which is the best place to see and be seen , serving delicious ( expensive !!) food . Speak to Biagio to get a table as it is very hard to get in !
Located in the Palace Hotel, Nobu has recently  joined the list of best restaurants in town . Although you will be paying through the roof for a piece of tuna sashimi, it is worth a visit !
La Baracca:
This crazy and wild restaurant located in a wooden hut in a parking lot is the go to place if you want to have a fun and drunken night. You will get super loud music and people dancing on the table .... oh and the food is delicious make sure you order their special carpaccio meat dish !
The Chesa Veglia Pizzeria
St Moritz's oldest members club and ultimate night hot spot, Dracula, founded by the late Gunter Sachs, is the place to be. Every night anyone who is anyone meets here either in the club after dinner or you can even chose to eat here. Once again access is very limited but if you speak to the managers
Costa or Fabio I'm sure they will help you out. I have had some of the best and wildest nights in here !
Kings Club:
Super old school nightclub located in the basement of the palace hotel. Although frequented by teenagers now it is definitely worth popping in for a drink !
Prive' :
Located in the basement of the Chesa Veglia this private members club is the perfect venue to host private parties. Reminds me of Annabels in London!
 Mario's Bar :
The Renaissance Bar in the Palace hotel is the ultimate hang out and meeting place. Better known as Mario's bar because of its famous chatty and charming Italian bartender Mario ( who has unfortunately left the palace now ) , this is a must go to place to really get an insight into what St Moritz is all about. Non smokers be aware they allow smoking here so prepare yourself to have smelly clothes the next day !
